As some of those who follow my Facebook page have noticed, I recently shot some video at the Anarchy Library. For those who don’t follow that, here are a couple of them. I’ll make more available later.

Lately I have not posted any more of the AX13 pics mostly because I’ve been busy with some video editing for my child company Phantasy Digital in an unholy partnership with X-Quizit Photography, my brother in law’s company.
We’ve been shooting a few events, and with as limited as I am with experience on Premiere or After Effects, I think I managed. I’ve still got a couple more videos to edit, but I will be posting more pics when I have some free time.
Now, I know I said I’d have more Haruhi pics… and here they are. I think I’m gonna have to do a third one of these since I had tons of them.
Thanks again to Lily Love and Sarah Storm for taking the time to shoot with me and for being patient since I have been busy with work and trying to work on other cosplayers.
“Living in the Shadow of a Goddess”
I shot the first one by accident, but then decided to have her pose in place.
Many Taiga’s this year, but only a couple actually caught my eye. One was too busy when I had the chance, the other is here. There’s something about her that just sold the tsundere character for me.
Now, for those who have known me for a while know I liked Death Note. There’s some that believe I have an obsession with Amane Misa since I had pictures of at least 4 Misa cosplayers during AX11. It isn’t because I was obsessed, I just happened to take pics of a very common character that year and of course, she was one that I could easily identify from the tons of people out there.
With that said, I spotted this young cosplayer on day 3 almost as soon as I walked into the main hall. It didn’t take me long to ask her for a few shots and here are some of the better ones.
I have been busy with work and other tedious tasks… like packing for a move, so I haven’t had the opportunity to work on some of the gathering pictures I shot during AX. I have decided to make a few panoramas of these (and believe me, they’re not easy to compile).
So I have been busy with pics and video from my day job… lots of it. Editing video is a long, tedious process when there’s other things that could take your attention. I tweeted about spotting Bunnygirls Haruhi and Mikuru and would try to get pics later. I missed them later that same day, but caught them on Day 4, the last day of AX. Sara Storm and Lily Love are great cosplayers who gave me a nice bit of time in which I shot over 200 pictures. I didn’t even break 100 during most of the other models, but this is Haruhi and Mikuru we’re talking about… it would be a crime against Haruhism if I didn’t.
Anyway, I’ve been busy with work, so I hadn’t had a chance to post these. I will most likely post more later in the month, but these are what I was able to do right now.
I know it’s been a couple of days since the last post, but I’ve been working on editing video for work. I do have a large… and I mean LARGE spread planned for the next post.
Let’s just put it this way… it’s based on the largest shoot I had during AX. Bunnygirls Haruhi and Mikuru featuring Kyon.
While looking for Video Game characters to run up a theme, I found Olivia, who agreed to the shoot for Alice: Madness Returns. She was quite cooperative and very fun to work with. You know someone’s got a great cosplay when other photographers come by and take shots when you’re shooting. I had at least 4 other people come by and shoot behind me.

Sticking to the themes format for a while since it worked for Samurai Girls. This time, I bring to you… Crossplayers! I saw more than enough crossplay to last me the rest of the decade, but I know I’m going to be exposed to more before the year is done. I had to do two of Hideyoshi because… well, who doesn’t love Hideyoshi?
Kotobuki Tsumugi, Akiyama Mio and Hirasawa Yui.
